Westcoast Hot Yoga (WHY) established in 2001 with great aspiration to create a network of yoga studios that will nurture and support its students' progress.  The WHY philosophy is that yoga is for everyone.

Our teachers draw on many years of experience studying various styles with different teachers from diverse backgrounds and working with medical health professionals.

Keith Neumeyer, Director

Mr. Neumeyer was introduced to the Bikram Yoga style back in early 2003. He fell in love with the discipline; particularily the calmness of the mind that Yoga brings.  Even though Yoga is the most intense exercise on the planet and exercises every part and every organ of our bodies, the mental and physical changes that occur over time are powerful reasons that kept Keith coming back. Over the past few years, Mr. Neumeyer became the largest investor in WHY and in late 2009 took over operations of the two studios.

Mr. Neumeyer is also the founder & President / CEO of First Majestic Silver Corp. (T-FR); a company focused on silver production in Mexico. Mr. Neumeyer has worked in the investment community for 25 years beginning his career at a number of Canadian national brokerage firms in the early 80's and then moved on to work with several publically traded companies in the resource and high technology sectors. His roles have included senior management positions and directorships responsible in areas of finance, business development, strategic planning and corporate restructuring. Mr. Neumeyer was also the original and founding President of First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (T-FM); a very large copper company with operations in Africa. As a result of Mr. Neumeyer's history working with publically traded companies on the Vancouver & Toronto Stock Exchanges he has extensive experience dealing with the financial, regulatory, legal and accounting issues that are relevant in operating private and public businesses.
