Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny. -- Upanishads

If you are one of the people who CHOOSE to sweat from crevices of your body you didn't know you had...if you are a teacher who is used to sweating out of crevices, then you can't complain about this heat in beautiful B.C.! Find something else to bitch about!
As soon as you feel the words bubble up in your head, or from your mouth...such as...
"It's so freakin hot outside!"
"It's too hot!"
"I can't take this!"
"I feel like a pool of hot butter in a sizzling hot frying pan of sweat!"
Or -
"ARRRRGHHHHHHHH"
Go jump in the nearest cool body of water and quit your complaining!
Why?
Well, you either pay money to stand in a 40 - 30 degree hot sweaty room with other hot sweaty bodies -
Or - you get paid to stand in a 40 - 30 degree room to sweat.
You are used to it by now, right?
I understand, you don't CHOOSE to have the temp outside rise by the second from morning to the late evening, till the next - so you have no control, and that doesn't count.
Yes it does.
You have trained yourself for these conditions!
Go jump in a cool something or other! Have a cold shower!
Have a slushy dirnk. Buy a fan. Do more hot yoga.
And rememember when January rolls around and it's -10 degrees and icy, you will have these fond memories of...
EMBRACING the heat, and smiling at the sun baby.
Peace
Andrea
