Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny. -- Upanishads

PEOPLE FROM THE PAST WEEK:
1 -
I saw someone I used to work with at the grocery store yesterday. He saw me, but completely ignored me.
In fact, he pretended he didn't see me. Then, I saw him again in the cash line. He saw me walk by him to another till. Then, when he was leaving - he purposely went the long way around so he wouldn't have to run into me...but I decided to go the way he was leaving and I walked right by him, we almost brushed shoulders, and he pretended to not see me, like I didn't exist.
What an idiot. Obviously I knew he was pretending not to notice me.

I just started co creating the newsletter for WHY, and sent it out. I got an e-mail from a woman and this is what she wrote...
"Could you remove me from this e-mail list, this is like the 10,000th time I have asked."
10,000? Really???? Wow, that's a lot of asking. Are you sure it wasn't just twice? Man, I could feel her anger.

There was someone in yoga class who was very angry at herself. She was being agressive with her yoga poses, and getting mad because she couldn't stretch as far as she used to be able to. She was red faced and frustrated.
REALIZATION -
I took a breath and realized, oops. I have been all these people. I have pretended I didn't see someone. I have been annoyed when a request wasn't fulfilled. I have been angry at myself.
Point the finger at yourself sometimes when you notice others. They are a mirror. Then you breathe and realize it's all a process in learning and releasing what you have learned.
Peace
Andrea
