Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny. -- Upanishads

I found yoga during my university years. Overwhelmed with exams, papers, projects, relationships, and an active participation in a student association, yoga became my soul food. A minute into my first asana, child’s pose, Balasana, I instantly knew that I have came to the right place and ever since, whether it is a home practice, or practicing in a studio, I cannot go a day without practicing.
Before yoga entered into my life, shopping, TV, and late nights were used as a diversion from my everyday stress. I now have a great attitude towards life and had learned to have truthfulness, compassion and loving kindness towards, all people, animals, and our mother earth. It has been an amazing and humbling journey so far, I feel extremely honored and grateful to be able to share my yoga experience with students. I feel strong and open in body, spirit and mind. This is what yoga has done for me and will continually do so, how about you? WHAT HAS YOGA DONE FOR YOU?

Thank you for sharing your experiences and thoughts with us. As yoga teachers, we are all so happy yet humble to hear students say that yoga has changed them on and off the mats. We are all students of life and yoga can be a channel to find your true self. Stay Shining, Cutie Angie! See you in class!
I admire your strength and your awareness in life. :)
Yoga has been in my life for past 5 years on and off. I've noticed on my ON mode with yoga, I'm motivated to do better, giving more love freely to myself. When I'm "OFF" with yoga, I tend to not care about much, giving up on many things easily. I still honour whatever path I take to be part of the journey even when I am not on yoga mode, I do know that YOGA will always be the bigger part of my life. Yoga brings me self love and peace in my heart knowing that I share my positive energy with people. Yoga brings me LIFE! I think that's what yoga was intended to be anyway... :)
I know who you are now, Cutie Angie!!! haha
