Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny. -- Upanishads

What is your first thought when you open the door to the yoga studio? Is it something like, “I hope I can make it through the class today – I am so tired.” OR, is your thought more like, “I am really looking forward to this class today!”
That first thought is resisting. The second thought is allowing.

      Are you having fun?

It has always been my belief that yoga is supposed to be FUN, yet as a teacher, when I look around during a yoga class, I notice that many students look very serious.

My intention is to make my classes challenging yet fun. This is why quite often in my class, right after a challenging posture, you will hear me ask in my cheekiest voice "How are you doing, Are you having fun or How’s it going kidz?"
