Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny. -- Upanishads

Are you wandering around aimlessley, asking the sky..."What should I do?" Are you looking for something, but have no idea what that "thing" is? Well, I can guarantee that yoga will help guide your way.
It's like the sky is cloudy, and there is a knife that starts to cut the clouds away, until all that's left is clear blue sky and clarity.
The clouds represent your brain being cloudy, not sure what to do, wishing the answer would appear.
Yoga is that knife cutting away the cloudiness until the clear blue backdrop of clarity appears.
So, what are you looking for?
Do you realize that you are always looking for something?
Yes, you are.
When was the last time you were not looking for anything?
Not even as a kid, you were still looking for your Mommmy, food, your toy.
Now it's just more confusing.
Now you are looking for
Direction
Love
Health
Transformation
Your house keys
Guidance
Truth
Clarity
Wealth
Peace of mind
Sex (I threw that in just to see if you were paying attention)
Well, this list could continue for 25 000 more blogs.
But, you get the point.
Guess what? To make your journey easier...
You can find everything you are looking for in yoga. Yes, even sex.
Example...
If you practice yoga, your body improves, your sexual organs are stimulated, the juices are flowing, and you feel great about yourself. That equals sex my friend.
Looking for your house keys? If you practice yoga, your memory improves because of all the new oxygen pumping through your brain, so you will remember quicker. Also, yoga gives you more patience and you can find things easier if you keep your cool.
So, instead of getting frustrated in life, and feel out of sorts because you keep looking for things...
How about start to feel whole, and balanced, and feel that you don't have to look anywhere besides yourself to find anything?
It's the truth.
You don't have to look to the sky, or to any source outside of yourself.
Get to the yoga room.
You just need yourself, your mat, and the willingness to stay open to the possibility of the present moment, where you already have what you need.
All that other stuff is just extra sunshine rays in your clear sky.
Come to yoga, and you will find what you are looking for.
Peace
Andrea
