Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny. -- Upanishads

Happy Chinese New Year! Goong Hay Faat Choy! 祝你身体健康!(Wishing you good health)
This year is the year of the Ox. Ox symbolizes strength, and hard work. Lots of hard work. Just imagine in the old farm days, oxen, cows, they work so hard to farming our food. With the spirit of ox, everyone this year would be working especially hard to achieve what they want. Just like the old saying, "No pain; No gain". However, it doesnt really have to be painful. When you first practice hot yoga, it might seem a little painful, because you were not used to the intense heat. After a while, after a series of discipline practices and strong will, you have overcome the heat factor and beginning the enjoy the benefits of the hot yoga practice. Later on, you begin to blossom and to appreciate not just the physical part of the the hot practice, but also the spiritual, mental side of the hot practice. So you spread the joy of your practice. People begin to see the change in you. You are a lighter, happier, and more delightful person. So, pay it forward, bring a friend or two or ten, to join you in a hot class. Plant a seed in someone else's life! Make it a Chinese New Year resolution. (It's also a NEW YEAR, you deserve to make another resolution!)
If yoga did change your life, you can change someone else's by referring a friend to the practice.
Namaste
