Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny. -- Upanishads

How would you treat hot yoga?
Have you given any thought on this?
Is it a meditative yoga practice for you? Or is it a cardiovascular plus strength-flexibility training for you?

You might be enjoying the heat. You might be enjoying the sweating effect. You might be enjoying the fluid movement in the practice. You might be enjoying the challenge of your mind staying and exercising in the hot room.

Everyone has a difference reason(s) of one's own in practicing this style of yoga/exercise.
No matter how you treat this, my opinion is that, the bottom line is, you are trying to do something good and healthy to yourself.
You are treating yourself nice by exercising your body as well as your mind.
You choose to do something you enjoy doing. No one has point a gun to your head to force you to go into the hot room.
I hope you are benefitting from this practice every time you walked in and out of the hot room. This benefit can be phenomenal or subtle. Only you would know what the benefit it. And it is solely for your own benefit.
