Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny. -- Upanishads

In the yoga room...someone is struggling. Someone is tired. Someone had an argument today and is thinking about it. Someone is wishing they didn't eat so close to class, and they are trying really hard not to pass gas.

      Someone has an old injury.

Someone is not paying attention to their body, and is just going through the motions because they can't stop daydreaming.

      Someone is bored.

Someone is wondering when the class will be over.

Someone is not comfortable in their own skin.

      Someone is judging themselves.

      Someone is planning their evening.

      Someone is planning their future.

Someone doesn't know what their future holds.

Someone is so happy to be there.

Someone is meditating on their breath.

      Someone is healing their heart.

Someone is grateful they have a body that works and can do yoga.

Someone is completely, totally present in the moment and at ease, and at home in their own body.

      Someone has a clear mind.

      Someone has an open heart.

As you move through your yoga -

You will be one of these people. And so will all the other yogis around you.

You will all share one or all of these experiences.

      Together, in the yoga room.

      Peace
      Andrea
