Beginners Hot Yoga Class
Even though at WHY all our classes are taught in a heated room, the following two class types are taught at 40 degrees versus our other classes which are taught at 30 degrees.
1) 90 minute Hot
Your Beginners Yoga class will consist of 26 beginners postures and two breathing exercises. The class room will be heated to 40 degrees Celsius to assist in a process of natural detoxification. Your muscles will be warmed to effectively maximize muscle length and minimize potential injury while helping the body heal and rejuvenate. This remarkable experience will last for 90 minutes with the first half consisting of breathing exercise, warm up postures and balancing series. Followed by the floor series performing the spine strengthening postures, graduated extension, compression and stretching postures, and the final breathing exercise.
2) 1h (1 hour Hot)
We also offer a 1 hour HOT class! This 1 hour class is heated to 40 degrees, and offers a mix of the 90 minute Hot class poses, plus some Flow postures/sequences and Yin postures. A combination of everything and all fit into 1 hour!
Suitable for beginners and those individuals who may have a hectic life style but who wish to fit Yoga into there daily routine.
